Frequently Asked Questions
When will my subscription ship?
All subscriptions ship between the 5th and 10th of each month. If you subscribe after the 12th, your first box will arrive the following month.
Can I pause or cancel my subscription?
Yes! You can pause for up to 3 months or cancel anytime with no penalty. Just make changes by the 25th of the month to avoid the next shipment.
What if I've already read the book you send?
We check your reading history and preferences to avoid duplicates. If it happens anyway, contact us within 7 days and we'll send a replacement at no charge.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we ship within the United States. International shipping is coming soon—join our waitlist to be notified when it's available.
How are used books selected and prepared?
We source used books from trusted sellers, estate sales, and donations. Each book is inspected, cleaned, and must meet our "excellent condition" standard—no writing, tears, or significant wear.
What's included in "The Liberator" banned books collection?
Each month features a book that has been challenged, banned, or censored—from contemporary titles being removed from schools to classic literature that was once forbidden. You'll receive context about why it was banned and what makes it important.
Can I purchase past subscription boxes?
While we can't recreate exact past boxes, we keep limited inventory of previous selections. Contact us to request specific titles or themes.
Are there annual discounts?
Yes! Pay annually and save 10% (essentially 2 months free). Pay for 6 months and save 5%.
